How NLP can work4u .....

what is NLP? How can NLP work for me?
These are just a few of the questions I get asked regularly, and I will give you an insight to how NLP can work for you, firstly I am not suggesting that their have been many times in your life where you have experienced times of being misunderstood, that no-one really understands what you are trying to say or do, does this sound familiar to you?

For many years I had experienced frustration at my family and friends not understanding me, that I began to believe that there was something horibbly wrong with me and I built up a wall around me as began to live a life of fear, anxiety and low self esteem. It was not a comfortable place to be in and I retreated many times to a place on my own.

My first experience of what NLP was with John Kehoe, of Mind Powers where we learnt how we run our brain, programmed ourselves to be who we were, and created and lived within the belief systems of our family, friends, teachers, community etc. Noticing positive changes in myself I started to research on the internet and dscovered trainings here in Australia and signed up to be formally trained …………………… this was the beginning of a wonderful, challenging, at times daunting journey where I discovered to my relief I was not horrible, and became aware of all the different ways in which people communicate differently and working with these techniques, it was easy to understand others and speak with them in ways that they understood me – WOW. I was finally being understood, no longer this stupid person that I had grown up believing I was.
That it was okay to do things differently, how interesting it was to notice and be aware of how many ways people can do things differently and end up with the same end result.

This gave me the tools to relate better with friends and family, to be honest some moved out of my life because I was no longer the easy to walk over person they could manipulate to satisfy their needs, and I accepted that and was happy for them to take a different path.

At work, I was easily understanding my clients requirements and noticed an enormous leap in my referrals I received from more than happy clients, I had a 200% increase in my referral base in one year.

NLP is not something we do, it is the techniques, skills, and proceses we learn to discover how we run our brain, what programming we use, how we create our belief systems so we can identify and enhance what we do in our personal and professional lives to communicate more effectively and easily to others.
